Requirements to participate in Rutland Athletics:
All student-athletes are required to register on DragonFly to complete their
eligibility forms prior to any participation in preseason workouts and/or tryouts.
There are no exceptions to this rule. The forms include an updated
physical examination with a signed doctor signature and proof of insurance,
along with other required forms listed on DragonFly.
The student-athlete must be in good academic standings to take part in tryouts and/or games. ACADEMICS BEFORE ATHLETICS @ RMS.
It’s a privilege to play sports at RMS so athletes must act responsible and
be respectful at all times. There is a code of conduct our student-athletes
must adhere to and will be held accountable for as they represent themselves,
their parents’ and RMS staff and coaches.
NEW - A required participation fee of $25 must be paid prior to the start of
any athletic season. Cheerleaders are the only group of athletes
that’s excluded from this requirement.
